Kingfisher Launches an Exciting new Ad Campaign for IPL

Watch Anil Kumble, Adam Gilchrist, Shane Warne, Andrew Symonds, Rahul Dravid and many more IPL cricketers humming to “Ooh la la la”

New Delhi, March 29, 2010: Kingfisher, the King of Good Times, is back with its copyright jingle “Ooh la la la ” to create waves once again. Heavy duty players from the top four teams of IPL, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Daredevils, Deccan Chargers & Rajasthan Royals may aim to gun down each other on the field, but off the pitch they can’t stop adjusting their vocal chords to get the legendry Kingfisher jingle right! Twenty one seasoned cricketers from four teams of IPL come together on one platform to sing for a new advertising campaign launched by Kingfisher, the King of Good Times for IPL 2010.

Cricket stalwarts like Anil Kumble, Rahul Dravid, Adam Gilchrist, Shane Warne, Gautam Gambhir, Andrew Symonds along with 15 others feature in the latest advertising campaign launched by Kingfisher for the IPL 2010. The 30 second TVC will be aired during the IPL matches on Set Max and other channels across the news, movie and music genres.

Kingfisher as a brand is very closely associated with IPL 2010.They are the Good Times partner to Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Daredevils, Rajasthan Royals, Deccan Chargers and Mumbai Indians. Kingfisher is also the official Umpire’s partners with the brand shining high on the uniforms and on the score boards in the stadiums.

Conceptualized by JWT, this karaoke based story line commercial is a delight to watch, a refreshing break in between tense moments of the match. Considering the strenuous and hectic schedule of the cricketers in the IPL, the ad has been shot in four different locations (Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai and New Delhi) with 21 leading Indian and international players.
