Teams Involved In Champions League Draw

When the draw is made on July 10, only four teams are confirmed for the quarter-finals. They are: Atalanta, Atletico Madrid, RB Leipzig and Paris Saint-Germain. The remaining four teams will be the winners of the following ties: Chelsea vs Bayern Munich, Barcelona vs Napoli, Real Madrid vs Manchester City and Juventus vs Lyon.

How Does The Draw Work..?

For the Champions League, 12 teams will be involved in the process.  Atalanta, Atletico Madrid, RB Leipzig and Paris Saint-Germain have already qualified to the quarterfinals, but the following Round of 16 matchups still need to be completed: Real Madrid vs. Manchester City; Lyon vs. Juventus; Napoli vs. Barcelona; Chelsea vs. Bayern Munich. The four remaining Round of 16 second legs will take place at the home teams' stadiums (Juventus, Man City, Bayern Munich, Barcelona) on Friday, Aug. 7, and Saturday, Aug. 8.
